Building an Online Brand - 
How to Rock Your LinkedIn Profile!

LinkedIn is a must have for anyone in the business world, especially those in transition. It is important that your profile is set up correctly (including a professional headshot) and then actively using LinkedIn to network.  

An expert LinkedIn user, Gina Potito from Lee Hecht Harrison(LHH) is coming to Jacksonville,  to give a dynamic presentation on LinkedIn. 

She will cover: 

-  What a professional “brand” is and how you can get your message across so that others know your value proposition.

-   What you don’t know about Social Media can hurt you.  Ensure your professional brand works for you and not against you. 

-  How to use LinkedIn to expand your professional contacts and keep on top of your function and industry.

In addition, a professional photographer is being invited to take headshots, but we need at least 15 participants to confirm the photographer.

Speaker Bio: 



Gina Potito, Director of Professional Services/Talent Development, Lee Hecht Harrison (LHH)

Gina Potito is a certified Executive Coach, and serves as the Director of Professional Services/ Talent Development consultant for Lee Hecht Harrison's (LHH) Florida offices.  She also partners with the sales team to present talent development solutions and services to clients throughout the southeast region for LHH.

Prior to working with LHH, Gina was the Managing Director for the Southeast Region of DBM, overseeing the operations and delivery of career transition and talent management services in the southeast region.  Her background spans 20 years as a performance improvement leader specializing in change and stress management, leadership coaching and development and career development. 

Photographer is a go!  We have enough commitments that it is a definite.  He will be there from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.  He will use a light gray background so avoid wearing light gray.  Pay the photographer directly.

 

If attending the LinkedIn presentation, you can bring your laptop/table and work on your profile while the presentation is taking place.

Fees & Requirements:

No cost, but you must be a member of ATD NEFL chapter to attend. Guests are $5.00.

For headshots, the cost is $15 - Cash, check or credit card.

Walk-ins: A $5.00 surcharge for unregistered walk-ins will apply.
