Online Teaching Platforms      

Program Details: 
Online course creation is rapidly growing and many professionals, especially professionals in the T&D field, have not attempted to touch this fast-growing phenomenon. Now more than ever it is very simple to create an online course to supplement your income and showcase your expertise. We will briefly review four of the many online course creation platforms and the tools each one provides to help you start designing online courses.
 
  • Participants will learn some stats for creating online courses and why they should consider it
  • Participants will learn about four online teaching platforms.
  • Participants will learn the pros and cons of each platform. 



Marla is the owner and founder of the TruthSpeaksGroup LLC, and her mantra is to #TeachTrainEducate working professional mothers how to gain the confidence they need to create the career they desire and on their own terms. Marla is a skilled trainer in the field of Adult Education and Transition.

Marla is a certified professional, career, and life coach, trainer, instructor, author, and has over 20 years of business, coaching, and training experience. She holds a Masters of Education in Adult Education and a Bachelors of Science in Supervision and Management. Marla is currently pursuing her PhD in I/O Psychology. She is the founder of the annual I.M.A.G.IN.E.(I’M Awesome Growing IN Excellence Women’s Empowerment Conference. 
Book Swap:
Look over those bookshelves and declutter. Bring any gently used books you are ready to swap. We will have an area for the book swap and network/book swap for the first 20 mins of this meeting.

8:10 AM: Featured Program
9:15 AM: End

Fees:
Members: FREE
Non-Members: $10.00

$5.00 surcharge for unregistered "walk-ins" applies to both members and non-members.
