Event Description:
At our March ASTD chapter event, you will hear from award-winning professionals who were recently selected for the Excellence in Employee Development Awards. These local professionals will share with us what they do within their organizations to promote workplace learning and how they document the results. This is a great opportunity to learn from your own colleagues about their best practices, their challenges, and what they do, that sets them apart.
At this ASTD chapter event, you will:
- Learn best practices from teams and individuals who impact their workplaces.
- Hear how local companies document positive results.
- Ask questions about the specific award-winning programs.
- Take away practical tips for classroom training, eLearning, and blended learning.
- Gain new insights into program design, leadership development, coaching and mentoring, measuring and evaluating.
- Network with other professionals and exchange ideas.
- Be inspired to do what it takes to earn a 2011 Employee Excellence Award!

ASTD Competency Model:

Because of the broad scope of the awards program, this month’s chapter event supports numerous Areas of Expertise.
Special Invitation to New Member Orientation:
If you are a newer ASTD member or you are interested in learning more about your ASTD benefits, please join us at 1:15 PM to 2 PM for a New Member Orientation. This event will follow the lunch event and you can register for the Orientation when you register for the meeting. You’ll learn how to make the most of your membership and discover more about the Northeast Florida chapter.
