ISD in the New World: How to Say "No" When eLearning is the Wrong Answer
Continue the celebration of our Chapter’s eSIG 10
th
Anniversary! Over the last decade, most organizations have migrated toward eLearning, and executives now expect high-quality e-courses to fix any problem or to take the place of any live class. We know that eLearning is not always the answer but how can we say “no” with confidence? Join in the discussion about the unique challenges in eLearning design and delivery, and find out how to determine if eLearning will meet C-Level expectations and learning objectives.
Attend this session if you want to learn how to:
Begin with the End in Mind – Can you build a Mercedes with simulated training?; clarifying expectations and objectives
Set Accurate Development Timelines – You want it when?!; identifying the “real” ratios for eLearning development
Be Aware of Limitations – We’re all video game designers … right?; recognizing skill and resource limitations
Presenters
:
Local presenters from our own membership will facilitate table discussions on the topic.
