                         November Monthly Program

Presenter:  Cindy Wasserbauer, Coach - End User Services

Getting the Most out of Linked In’s Social Networking

Event Description:
Whether you are interested in expanding your network, increasing
your training and development knowledge, looking for a new
position, or exploring ways to increase your business, LinkedIn is
one of the most valuable networking tools available to
professionals today.

The ASTD November Program will offer an opportunity to get a
free professional profile picture
and learn about the many features
of LinkedIn as a networking and informational tool.  Whether you
are brand new to LinkedIn or an experienced user, we have the
presentation for you.  Cindy Wasserbauer, an experienced
LinkedIn user, trainer, and networker, will share her knowledge,
tips and success stories.

You will learn how to:

  • Set up a more informative profile that gets people’s
    attention
  • Turn off settings so your changes are not sent out as
    announcements to your contacts
  • Create your own personalized LinkedIn URL
  • Make your profile 100% complete even if you are not
    currently employed
  • Conduct a search of the companies you want to follow
  • Choose the right networking groups and engage in active
    discussions
  • Grow your network of contacts and manage them the right
    way
  • Add documents to your profile, like whitepapers and
    articles you have written
  • Give and request recommendations and endorsements
  • Use the LinkedIn Help Features and much more
