Then join us for the November 14th Career Management Special
Interest Group Program!
As we approach the holiday season and the end of the year, let’s
spend some quality time networking with each other and
engaging in light, informal round table discussions for our
November program.
We’ll have three concurrent small-group discussions around
relevant career-related topics. Please come prepared to discuss
the following questions:
• What is the greatest career or small business challenge you
face today?
• What specific skills would you like to develop in 2014?
• What career-related topics or speakers would you like to see
us consider for our 2014 meetings? (Please feel free to bring the
names/phone numbers of potential subject matter experts)
Donations to Ronald McDonald House and City Rescue Mission:
If you would like to bring a specific item for donation to the
Ronald McDonald House or City Rescue Mission please feel free
to bring any of the below listed items to our meeting. Items will be
delivered to each charity the day after our meeting.
City Rescue Mission:
• Pasta, rice, canned vegetables and fruits, and canned meats
such as tuna or beef ravioli
Ronald McDonald House:
• Individually packaged cereal, chips, cookies, fruits and entrees;
individually packaged soups and meals; paper cups/bowls/plates;
paper towels; extra large Ziploc bags; disinfectant wipes; copy
paper; post it notes

Ronald McDonald wish list
ASTD Competency Model:
The Model emphasizes: (1) foundational
competencies, or those that are important to
everyone in the field, and (2) the specific areas
of expertise (AOEs), which are the specialized
knowledge and actions required by specific
roles. This month’s program supports the
ASTD competency of “IMPROVING HUMAN
PERFORMANCE.”

No cost, but you must be a member of NE Florida ASTD chapter
to attend.

Walk-ins: A $5.00 surcharge for unregistered walk-ins will
apply.

to 5:00 pm three business days before the event (unless otherwise
noted) to receive a full refund. Cancellation deadlines may be
extended for special events.
