April Monthly Program

Revisiting Our Roots: Best Practices in Learning that are Still Effective Today

This month’s program revisits our best practices from our deep-rooted history of facilitating learning in the classroom and an examination of application in today’s world of an expanded buffet of offerings and options.

We will explore tried and true fundamental classroom techniques, knowledge of the needs of the adult learner and the skills of an effective facilitator. These were developed over the last twenty plus years and still apply (even with some creative modifications) in today’s learning atmosphere – both in the classroom and online.

You will experience the live techniques during this session and have tangible takeaways that you can implement right away, whether you facilitate classroom learning, online environments or are responsible for instructional design.  Don’t miss this facilitator-led session with table engagement as you enhance your skills in the areas of delivery of content, engaging the learner, being an effective facilitator and creating an ideal environment for learning.
