Title of the Event: Executing Change Management Strategies in a Digital World

Event Description: Join us for the next ATD NEFL Change Management SIG Sync, featuring Dr. Carlton Robinson, Chief Innovation Officer at the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. This interactive session will explore the evolving role of change management in the digital age, with a special focus on how artificial intelligence is reshaping organizational strategies and workforce development.

Participants will gain insights into the Cognitive Industrial Revolution and its implications for economic development, entrepreneurship, and talent transformation. Dr. Robinson will share real-world strategies from his work with the Chamber, including the nationally recognized JAX Bridges program and his pioneering Future of Entrepreneuring Doctrine.

Speaker #1:

Name: Dr. Carlton Robinson

Title: CIO at Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce

Bio: Dr. Carlton Robinson currently serves as the chief innovation officer of the Jacksonville (FL) Regional Chamber of Commerce. He has developed a wide range of entrepreneurial programming to support members, the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center, and minority programs. He developed and launched the JAX Bridges (2014) entrepreneurial education program that has served nearly 3,500 business owners. In 2016, the program qualified as a national finalist for innovation. He was recognized by the Society for the Advancement of Management (2021) as a co-author and recipient of the Best Paper Award in the area of entrepreneurship. Other leadership positions in small business have included Start-Up Quest/University of Florida, Lean Startup Week (San Francisco), and Startup Weekend (Jacksonville). He has been certified by the Kauffman Foundation for entrepreneurial education and the National Center for Economic Gardening. He is responsible for the JAX Chamber becoming one of the first resource providers nationally to achieve vertical integration of AI in entrepreneur support through his Future of Entrepreneuring Doctrine.
